We heard a bit of banging at the door. Scared us at first. Don’t get no visitors around here, not ever. But that security camera our grandson gave us did its job and we saw the young woman standing out on the porch asking for something or another. She seemed nice enough. We told her to wait patiently until the commercial break. There is so much news happening right now; couldn’t imagine missing a moment of it. ‘Course I can’t actually remember the last time we got a commercial break. Seems like they’re fewer and further between these days. I don’t mind, I could listen to those folks on the television talk forever.

Our grandson, Michael, said she turned up dead. Ain’t that a shame? Do you think she’ll make the local news? Ain’t everyday you see someone you almost met. We didn’t get a chance to ask Michael many questions.  He’s so focused on digging for treasures.
